THE POSITION

**This is primarily an onsite in Seattle HQ position, Not a Remote role**

The Technical Project Manager I will support projects that align with business goals and objectives while exceeding customers’ expectations for scalable single cell research. In this role, you will work with key Business Owners and Cross Functional Teams to plan, initiate, execute, and monitor project tasks and deliverables. You will support stakeholders to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate blockers to ensure projects stay on track. Your work in this role will accelerate the pace of innovation and development at Parse and help us continue to release impactful products to researchers.

IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL

  • Work with the Strategic Project Management team to manage full project life cycles, from scoping and creating full project plans/roadmaps including timelines and critical milestones, through to final delivery.
  • Work closely with Business Owners, Product Managers, Stakeholders and cross functional project teams to get necessary inputs and feedback to define project scope.
  • Shorten project timelines by working with different teams to identify and address risks and potential blockers.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to the project management process including improvements to existing infrastructure, tools, and best practices.
  • Facilitate project team stand up meetings and support the team to unblock and mitigate risks.
  • Work with the team to maintain project documents and author meeting minutes.
  • Ensure Project Tracking tools are updated and easy to use for the project team.
  • Partner with different teams to assign owners and clearly communicate accountability.
  • Drive collaboration across teams and capabilities with project stakeholders to ensure successful prioritization, planning, and delivery.

FOR THIS POSITION, WE LOOK FOR

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a life science field, Business Administration or Management, or other relevant disciplines.
  • 1+ years experience on a technical project team to support highly impactful projects in Life Sciences and/or Genomics.
  • Prior experience with either Assay Development, Genomics Product Development, Software Development, Automation Development, Pharma/CRO.
  • A demonstrated ability to form and sustain strong working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with project management tools, methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills including listening, written, and verbal.
  • The ability to balance multiple priorities with strong time management and organizational skills, and a proven ability to meet urgent deadlines.

Market Pay Range - Exact compensation will be dependent on skills, education and experience relevant to the position
$70,000$85,000 USD
