What is this position about?
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to manage the execution of different cross-functional projects by defining the strategy and understanding the business contexts, needs and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This role requires ensuring the teams follow agile practices, removing impediments, and promoting an environment for high performance. The position potentially involves working with US clients.
You may work 100% remotely if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can always join us at the office!
Job Description
- Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more cross-functional agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum processes and agile principles.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives).
- Coach and mentor teams on agile practices, promoting a collaborative and self-organizing culture.
- Remove impediments or blockers that hinder team progress, ensuring smooth delivery of sprint goals.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clear and concise user stories.
- Track, monitor, and report on key sprint metrics such as velocity, burndown, and team progress
- Developing required project plans including detailed timelines, resource allocations, milestones, forecasts, and status reports.
- Managing the communications and expectations of both clients and internal stakeholders and keep them up to date with frequent status update reports.
- Proactively solving problems and initiating necessary collaboration (anticipate, identify and actively resolve issues).
- +7 Experience in project management with IT product-related deliverables collaborating with development and/or data teams.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an agile development environment.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Certification in Scrum (e.g., CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
- Experience managing large, diverse projects and parallel workstreams with external clients.
- Experience leading and coaching team members.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Proficiency in conveying complex ideas and technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Capacity to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
- Experience with tools such as Jira/Confluence is a must.
