About the role:
As we enter our next phase, we are focused on building a next-generation product that can sustain high growth and endure for years to come. To help us on this journey, we're seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with diverse backgrounds who can drive and help us accelerate this journey. You will be building a leading fintech product across South-East Asia on an international & diverse team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage end-to-end project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Track project progress, identify potential risks and issues and manage impediments, scope changes, escalations, problem resolution,
- Implement effective project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively, informing them of project progress and risks.
- Drive meaningful relationships to ensure alignment and transparency at every project stage and ensure that all parties provide the requisite participation and accountability.
- Ensure that business requirements and KPIs are being implemented according to defined scope, requirements, and best practices.
- Work with the Engineering team and Product Owner to come up with backlogs and release time.s
- Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration to resolve conflicts
- Create and publish team and project-level delivery and quality metrics/reports
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular quality reviews and audits.
- Drive a team striving for quality and excellence in all aspects of project delivery.
- Guide teams to higher scrum maturity and agile framework
- Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
Minimum qualifications:
- Working experience with start-ups or good tech companies with 8+ years of experience
- Proven experience in project management, ideally in a technology environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong working experience with Jira with administrative skills in setup and configure
- Experienced and proficient in process documentation and software development life cycle
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit, highly collaborative, manages change fluidly and influences and identifies opportunities.
- Strong organizing, planning, and administration skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
