The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale, data-driven projects that empower our retail clients to optimize their operations and enhance customer experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—data scientists, engineers, analysts, and client stakeholders—to deliver solutions on time, within scope, and with the highest level of quality. Your expertise in Agile methodologies, leadership, and project management will be crucial in driving the success of these high-impact initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of data, analytics, and technology projects, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and Blend360's standards.
- Manage project timelines, risks, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring all client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, and analytics teams to design and implement scalable, innovative solutions.
- Engage directly with retail clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure team alignment and project progress.
- Serve as the primary client liaison, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and fostering strong client relationships.
- Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery.
- Drive continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Blend360’s internal project management frameworks.
Must Haves:
- Minimum 7 years of project management experience with a focus on data, analytics, and technology.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects in the retail sector, with a strong understanding of retail workflows and customer experience optimization.
Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent advanced project management certification.
- Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure in the context of data and analytics solutions.
- Knowledge of retail-specific systems and technologies, such as POS, CRM, inventory management, and e-commerce platforms.
- Proven proficiency in Agile methodologies; Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.
