The Customer Fulfilment Team make sure that customers can always get the products they want whether in store or online. We plan; execute and manage the delivery of over 1.3m grocery orders per week across UK; Republic of Ireland and CE and ambitions to expand out into other categories.
Our challenge is to create a strategic and scalable fulfilment platform to maximize the resource usage and increase the end to end fulfilment efficiency; making a visible; valuable impact. Delivering innovative step change; through new Technologies; automation; and robotics. Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business; the following provides an overview of the role’s key responsibilities and measures:
-Deliver complex programmes with multiple business and technical risks that will impact the success of key Tesco business priorities
- Create and track a plan to deliver the programme goals; including the technical implementation plan; focussing on unlocking business value
- Manage dependencies across platform and technology teams to deliver transparency and visibility for key outcomes
- Able to foresee potential risks and issues; establish a process; facilitate discussion and manage escalations
- Able to understand a technical architecture to be able to foresee the impact on dependencies; delivery timelines and implementation plans
- Effectively manage incidents; ensuring stakeholders are updated with the right information to drive the correct decisions
- Conduct Post incident reviews; effectively communicate the output and follow up on the next steps
- Proactively identify problems; work closely with Product and engineering teams to quantify their impact and prioritise fixes- Strong Project; Stakeholder & Programme management skills
You’ll need to have demonstrated experience of:
