Technical Programme Manager - Developer Experience (DX)

THE ROLE📝

Architecture & Operational Engineering business area is responsible for running Form3 services in both a reliable and cost-efficient manner. We are a multi-disciplinary team that encompasses SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), Incident Management, Change Management and Software Supply Chain (build/release pipelines) teams. We are supported by experienced Staff Engineers specialising in observability, performance tuning and chaos engineering. This positions us to implement cross cutting initiatives that aim to improve development experience of wider engineering.

In this role you will work closely with the technical teams at Form3, running workshops and defining initiatives, roadmaps and milestones. You'll need to use your exceptional communication skills to deliver technical content to promote our DX tooling and services, engaging the wider engineering group.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR  🔍

  • Technical or engineering background (micro-service architecture, software development lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, etc.) with at least 5+ years of experience in either technical product or project/programme manager role.
  • Understanding of SRE discipline and practices (SLOs/SLAs, incident management, chaos engineering, change management).
  • Ability to shape, manage and communicate teams’ roadmaps and vision.
  • Clear and engaging communicator who can promote and advocate DX tooling and services to wider engineering through tech-talks, presentations, etc.
  • Experience facilitating workshops for technical audiences.
  • Ability to clearly define and communicate initiatives, roadmaps and milestones.
  • Knowledge of establishing KPIs/OKRs and reporting on their progress.
  • Understanding of observability domain and tooling (business metrics, tracing, logging).
  • Experience of building and managing technical products, particularly for internal users.

 

THE TEAM 👥

Architecture & Operational Engineering business area consists out of multi-functional teams like SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), incident management, observability, and software supply chain, all working together. This setup, combined with the support of three staff engineers, positions us strongly to address cross-cutting concerns that span multiple areas, such as performance optimisations, chaos engineering, cost control, etc.

To summarise, by bringing together diverse expertise, we can effectively collaborate and run our platform reliably, ensuring seamless operation and fast incident resolution. The vast majority of team are located in Europe, with some colleagues based in Canada, meaning you’ll always have somebody to collaborate with regardless of your timezone.
