About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Technical Program Manager to drive large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and ensure successful delivery of critical projects. This role involves working closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to define requirements, develop robust plans, and oversee execution from concept to launch. You will leverage your technical background to balance both business and engineering priorities, proactively mitigate risks, and consistently communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive program roadmaps, defining deliverables, success metrics, and timelines for large-scale technical projects.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, working closely with engineering, product, and operations to clarify requirements, align objectives, and maintain transparent communication.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively uncovering potential bottlenecks or dependencies and implementing strategies to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes.
  • Ensure technical alignment by facilitating discussions around system architectures, removing blockers, and balancing technical constraints with business needs.
  • Champion process improvements through Agile/Scrum best practices, retrospectives, and workflow optimizations for greater efficiency and collaboration.
  • Oversee resource management, including team capacity allocation, staffing needs, and project budget oversight, while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Monitor and report progress, tracking milestones, creating regular status updates for leadership, and recommending course corrections as needed.
  • Foster continuous collaboration by promoting knowledge-sharing, open feedback, and alignment on program goals across all involved teams.

 

Exceptional Candidates May Have

  • Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale, high-impact programs in a tech-driven environment.
  • Experience working across globally distributed or remote teams, aligning diverse stakeholders on common goals.
  • Background in cloud services, software development, or system architecture, enabling effective collaboration.
  • Proven ability to balance business objectives with technical constraints, making data-driven decisions.

 

Required Skills

  • Program Management Experience: 5+ years of managing complex projects or programs, preferably in software or technology domains.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with common programming concepts, cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Methodologies & Tools: Proficiency in Agile/Scrum principles; experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar PM software.
  • Communication & Leadership: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence teams and navigate cross-functional dependencies.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Expertise in identifying potential risks, developing contingency plans, and driving resolutions with urgency.
