Insurers find it hard to understand the true exposures of businesses and to profitably provide them with policies that reflect that risk. That's where we come in. Our AI-powered underwriting workbench - Copilot - compiles everything underwriters need, and flags the exposures they need to know about. With Copilot, underwriters can find critical information in a flash; digitize their underwriting guidelines; triage, prioritize, and track their book; and automatically read and summarize key documents, like loss runs and supplemental applications – all out of the box. This means that insurance carriers grow faster and are more profitable, and businesses get the right coverage at the right rates. It’s the way insurance should work.
Salary range: $110k – $150k

What we’re looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead our integration initiatives. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful integration of Kalepa’s Copilot SaaS solution with various external software systems, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and partners. This role is technical in nature and will involve a lot of details. It will require rapidly getting up-to-speed on the technical details of how Copilot works and interfaces with other systems used by our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management - Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of integration projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within resource budget, and according to quality standards.
- Stakeholder Management - Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including product management, engineering, sales, customer success, and client teams to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and communicate project status and milestones.
- Quality Assurance - Establish and maintain rigorous testing processes to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of integrated systems.
- Continuous Improvement - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance integration processes, tools, and best practices and stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to remain competitive in the market.

About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a technical program or project management within the software industry; integration work is a plus.
- Strong understanding of integration technologies and protocols, such as APIs, web services, RESTful interfaces, JSON, XML, etc.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, from executives to analysts
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues. Advanced SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Experience working in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
- You love to hustle: finding ways to get things done, destroying obstacles, and never taking no for an answer. The words “it can’t be done” don’t exist in your vocabulary.
- You are data-driven, with a knack for combining quantitative and qualitative feedback and insights.
- You love being the voice of the customer. You understand their problems and needs in detail and always look for better ways to address them.
