This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support governance, oversee projects, communicate insights, and maintain operational excellence all while continuously seeking to improve our processes and product offerings.
Essential Functions
Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize advanced SQL and scripting skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
Data Visualization: Create and manage insightful and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau, PowerBI, and other data visualization tools.
Metric Development: Develop and monitor DORA, SPACE, Flow, and other developer productivity metrics to provide actionable insights.
Governance Support: Ensure accurate Application Service data is recorded, including criticality, accessibility, and data privacy governance. Provide guidance and support to application owners.
Project Oversight: Support the management of multiple projects aligned with the organization's key results and objectives.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and senior management, to understand data needs and deliver meaningful conclusions. Coordinate and facilitate meetings, documentation, and follow-ups.
Communication: Present findings and recommendations to senior management, translating complex data into clear and actionable insights.
Metrics and Reports: Monitor OKR progress, develop and maintain detailed reports and metrics, and provide management updates.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to continuously improve data analysis, reporting processes, and product offerings.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience in data analysis, product management, or a related role, with a proven track record of using SQL and scripting for data extraction and manipulation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, R, or similar).
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
• Must be proficient with Excel (Advanced Skills needed)
• Knowledge:
• Experience or knowledge in DORA, SPACE, Flow, and other developer productivity metrics is essential.
• Familiarity with Generative AI technologies.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL practices is a plus.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions to enhance existing processes.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to team members, stakeholders (technical and non-technical), and other departments.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 138,500.00 to 200,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
