The Role

As a Technical Program Manager at BeyondTrust, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the development and implementation of technology-focused projects or programs. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the necessary technical requirements. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with engineers, product managers and other cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and innovative technology solutions. You will also manage timelines, risks, and project deliverables to ensure successful execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, plan, and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of product and program initiatives within an assigned product area, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives 
  • Develop comprehensive program roadmaps, outlining milestones, timelines, and resource requirements for efficient execution
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency across program activities
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess program success and inform decision-making
  • Deliver clear, concise progress reports and dashboards to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, providing visibility into program status, risks, and achievements.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams, including Engineering, User Experience, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless program execution  
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate cross-team dependencies and risks, integrating them into program planning and tracking
  • Facilitate problem resolution by conducting root cause analysis and coordinating cross-functional efforts to implement long-term solutions 
  • Oversee the product deployment readiness, ensuring smooth integration and release processes across teams 
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitive advancements to inform program strategy and execution
  • Ensure full compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements by maintaining clear documentation and updating processes as needed
  • Manage escalations, proactively resolve critical program challenges, and coordinate with leadership to deploy resources for high-priority issues  

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field experience
  • 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in program management, project management, or technology 
  • Strong business acumen 
  • Proficient level of understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies 
  • Big picture thinker and self-starter 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills 
  • Experience in Security or Cloud software solutions 
  • Proficient in process modeling and organizational change management strategies 
  • Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa 
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills 
  • Experience with creative problem-solving in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
