About the Job 

As a Technical Program Manager at Anthro Energy, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring internal and external development programs progress toward timely success. You will be responsible for crafting detailed project timelines, identifying program risks/opportunities, and delivering communication of program updates across multiple stakeholders. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of sustainable energy solutions in a dynamic startup environment. 

What you will do 

  • Collaborate with internal and external program stakeholders to build detailed timelines with key deliverables, anticipate and address roadblocks, and communicate program status and risks. 
  • Proactively evaluate internal R&D engineering decisions/goals vs. customer roadmaps and requirements to identify and address gaps and tradeoffs. 
  • Act as a key point of contact between R&D, Manufacturing, and Customer Programs teams to foster strong relationships and facilitate productive, data-driven discussions for company-wide alignment. 
  • Support discussions with Manufacturing team and external equipment vendors to drive timeline delivery of products that meet Anthro’s technical requirements 
  • Help develop the norms to track and communicate program updates across the entire organization. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or other physical science. 
  • 3-5 years of program management or similar experience, preferably in the battery, material/chemical industry. 
  • Proven track record in establishing frameworks for decision-making, program life cycles, and stage-gate methodology. 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills. 
  • Working knowledge of project management principles and mastery of necessary tools and software needed to execute on them. 
  • Knowledge of battery technology and electrochemistry is preferred. 
  • Experience working with government grant development programs is a plus. 
  • Experience working with sourcing and commissioning of new equipment is a plus.
