DeleteMe is looking for an experienced, energetic, results-driven Technical Product Owner, who excels in a team-oriented environment, to join our Product team.

As a Technical Product Owner responsible for the internal tooling for DeleteMe’s platform, you will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering the tools that empower our organization's efficiency and productivity to deliver results to our end customers. You will collaborate closely with our Privacy Advisors (PAs), the experts who help find and remove the personal information from Data Brokers for our members,to define, prioritize, and execute initiatives aimed at improving how they work.  This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the way our company internally operates, how our Privacy Advisors perform their day-to-day duties and provide unmatched value to our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with DeleteMe’s Engineering and Product leadership in North America to drive internal tooling product priorities.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's internal processes, workflows, and pain points to identify areas where internal tooling can be improved to provide significant value.
  • Manage the day to day backlog prioritization for an Engineering scrum team, participate in Agile software development and own the backlog grooming meeting.
  • Contribute to and guide execution of our long-term vision and strategy for our internal tools, aligning it with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate on, and maintain a roadmap that outlines the strategic initiatives, features, and enhancements for the internal tooling portfolio.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Design, and QA teams to ensure our internal tools are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Privacy Advisor team and leadership to understand their feedback, needs, and challenges to gather requirements and inform roadmap.
  • Define product features and requirements, and communicate them clearly to the development team.
  • Track and analyze internal tooling performance metrics, such as PA efficiency, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product and workflow performance.
  • Conduct internal testing and gather feedback from stakeholders to inform product improvements and new feature development.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on performance, roadmap progress, and risks.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Manager, or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Lead with strong technical skills.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and the ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and build strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in English language communication, both written and verbal, is required to effectively collaborate with global teams and communicate with international stakeholders.
