We are seeking a Technical Product Manager for a direct hire role in Los Angeles, CA  This role will work a hybrid schedule of onsite/in-the-office work with some remote options weekly in the Los Angeles office. 

In this role, you will develop and execute a product strategy and product plan to continuously improve the usability and performance of backend tools and the immersive experiences these tools enable.
 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop a vision and execute a holistic technical product strategy for the software suite that powers products and customer experiences. 
  • Represent the Product Development Team at the executive level and evangelize the strategic technical product roadmap across the broader organization. 
  • Understand media advancements, user needs, technology innovations, and competitive offerings to grow and develop new products and features. 
  • Communicate product needs through the collection and creation of functional specifications, business requirements, and user stories. 
  • Partner with Business Development teams to ensure smooth delivery of contractual requirements.
  • Work with Design teams to create optimal user experiences.
  • Work with Engineering, Program Management, and QA teams through development and delivery.
  • Identify KPIs, builds dashboards, and analyze data to understand user behaviors.
  • Work with Product Management leadership to shape product strategy and translate into actionable short-term and long-term roadmaps.
  • 7+ years of experience as a product manager working with backend systems, digital media, and/or consumer technology. 
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and synthesize requirements across diverse functional areas and convert them into a product roadmap and vision.
  • An understanding of Unreal Engine, Unity, and other real-time development tools.
  • Strong technical background and experience working directly with Engineering, Product Design, and Program Management teams.
  • A self-starter with excellent communication skills who can develop and sell a unique product vision internally and externally. 
  • Experience with microservices, API-driven applications, and content management systems.
  • Experience working with engineering teams using Agile / Scrum software development & other common engineering best practices.
  • Understanding of UI/UX best practices, including when to follow patterns and when to push boundaries.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to build and maintain strong relationships, and the conviction to influence and lead without direct authority.
  • Great product instincts with a track record of successful execution. 
  • Remarkable attention to detail and an ability to thrive in a creative, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience leading digital product initiatives from start-to-finish and developing product opportunities focused on driving key metrics around engagement, stability, and user experience would be ideal.  
     

This direct hire/permanent role will be based in Los Angeles, CA.  This role will work a hybrid schedule of onsite/in-office work with some remote options weekly in the Los Angeles office.  This role will pay between $115,000- $150,000 per year (flexibility to pay more depending on experience) and a comprehensive benefit package to include: company-paid healthcare plans for employees, dental insurance, vision insurance, equity options, and generous paid time off.
