Who You Are

DISCO is looking for a Technical Product Manager to increase the impact of AI by helping to accelerate the execution of AI roadmap working with the AI team and the cross-functional leaders. The ideal candidate has experience as Product/Program management or leading data science teams. Technical experience to weigh tradeoffs and to have discussions with scientists and engineers for the complex AI models and classifiers. They are approachable partners, are biased to action and drive accountability across the teams working together to deliver delightful legal tech solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Be the technical product/program manager for the AI group consisting of Data Scientists, data engineering and software engineering teams. 
  • Acts as the voice of the AI team, can clearly articulate the purpose and impact of the work requested for the data scientists 
  • Drive planning and coordination of multiple, interwoven software design and development work streams.
  • Manage and prioritize the AI roadmap across multiple stakeholder requests.
  • Collaborate with AI and cross-functional teams to break down business requirements into features and establish a schedule for the delivery. 
  • Identify risks and drive the execution of mitigation across the organization
  • Present the project updates in monthly and quarterly review meetings. 

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of successfully delivering results as a ML/AI product manager or as a technical leader in the AI space.
  • 2+ years of experience in program management
  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in at least one of the many areas of the Machine Learning and Data Science world
  • Worked closely with the Product Managers, Data Scientists, and core engineering to define product strategy and roadmap for AI projects
  • Led  the product lifecycle from planning and product requirements to execution and continuous support
  • Strong understanding of ML metrics, explainability and sources of bias
  • Experience with the AWS cloud environment is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, whether in writing, presentation, or speaking
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science with 4+ years of experience or Advanced degree in MBA, Computer Science, Statistics or related STEM field
