Technical Product Manager, AI Platform

Samsung SDS is one of the largest global IT services companies. We deliver cloud infrastructure, software, and computing services to Samsung Group and many enterprises. Our artificial intelligence (AI) group based in San Jose, California is seeking a technical product manager for our cloud-based AI software offering.

As a technical product manager you will work with customer and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, build and roll-out cloud-based AI products. We are looking for a problem-solver who is passionate about building products that customers love.

This role can be hybrid - we would love to meet in person in our office in San Jose. It is also open for remote.

This is what you'll do:

• Partner with business stakeholders to plan, estimate, and prioritize development work efforts and manage the sprint lifecycle through feature design to production release
• Coordinate cross-functional agile teams across engineering, quality, and operations, through development and launch of new features and technologies
• Communicate with teams in various geographies and time zones
  Align the product vision and roadmap with feature solutions and deployment release schedule
• Translate requirements into workable user stories to plan, prioritize, and estimate sprint activities and backlog
• Support development and quality engineer teams to ensure feature acceptance criteria are met
• Manage the development process to achieve planned objectives of the product and features
• Work closely with business product teams as a subject matter expert who can answer questions raised by the technical/developer community
• Write and maintain technical and project documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of technical product management experience or equivalent
• 3+ years in a fast-paced IT or Software related environment
• Experience working in and advocating for artificial intelligence
• 3+ years using MS Excel, Python, Jira and Atlassian Products
• Experience working with engineering leads to establish acceptance criteria for development work and user acceptance testing efforts
• Experience with globally distributed intercultural teams

The base pay range for this role is USD $180,000 - $220,000 per year.

Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of the role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.

Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus.
