Job Description

The Challenge

Are you a tech enthusiast who’s excited about getting hands-on experience across a range of operational topics? Motivated to empower a purpose-driven, distributed team to be more efficient? You might just be the person we’ve been writing this job description for! 🌍

We’re a growing collective of 55+ people, and with a lean operations team of just five, each person’s contribution is essential to keeping everything running smoothly. As a Technical Operations Trainee, you’ll be at the core of our organization, helping us optimize day-to-day experiences both in Tunisia and abroad. You’ll gain valuable experience in tech ops, office management, and quality management while working to keep things organized and efficient.

Your Challenge: Enable our team to focus on impactful work by maintaining an organized equipment system and supporting operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:

You will support our team in a dynamic and inclusive environment to ensure smooth and seamless operations, including:

  • Enhancing Workplace Experience: Collaborate with the workplace experience team to create a wow environment that’s functional and inspiring.
  • Equipment Management Innovation: Lead research into a central tool for efficient international equipment management.
  • Operational Problem-Solving: Tackle challenges in our technical operations with creative, effective solutions.
  • Driving Excellence: Explore and implement ways to boost operational efficiency and excellence through innovative tech, such as IoT, automation, AI, and more.

Requirements

What we’re looking for

  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong work ethic, self-drive, and thirst for learning
  • Problem-solving skills to get things done
  • Professional written and verbal fluency in English

Who you are

  • You are detail-oriented and organized, with a passion for creating engaging content that’s easy to understand and navigate.
  • You are creative and love finding new ways to turn complex information into interactive and visually appealing materials.
  • You are self-motivated, capable of working independently, and proactive in suggesting improvements.
  • You enjoy collaborating with different teams and contributing to a positive and supportive work culture.

It would be great if you also have:

  • B.Sc or M.Sc in Design or HR with skills/interest in the other
  • Professional proficiency in additional languages like French and Tunisian Arabic
