Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide the company with market knowledge from technical and organizational perspectives.
2. Create and maintain up-to-date product information masters for new and existing products, i.e. Ordering guides, technical documents, presentations, product bulletins, brochures, catalogs, operating procedures (in various formats), competitive analysis and benefits, etc., for internal and external use/distribution.
3. Speak with and travel to the customers’ engineering teams’ locations and field to promote and introduce our products for type-approval. Once approved, as appropriate, pass over to the appropriate account sales managers.
4. Write technical papers for trade publications and for industry presentation.
5. Investigate, develop, and document new products, methods and procedures as related to strategic markets and solutions.
6. Analyze competing products in the marketplace.
7. Build and maintain competitive product information library.
8. Support sales teams: respond to customer requests for application assistance, qualifying leads, assuring product selection, and providing other customer-required information as needed.
9. Interface with industry technical groups (Bellcore, TIA, Telcordia, etc.)
10. Interface with SEI to direct the technical marketing activity in US, as well as other country outside US if necessity. Participate in internal design review activity.
11. Help resolve technical problems by performing tests, collecting data, and reporting.
12. Maintain project schedules and records for ISO compliance with respect to product design reviews, development, evaluation, and data gathering activity.
13. Organize Webinar, Podcast etc... to penetrate products for customer.
14. Help product operations including supply chain management.
15. If the performance is promising and the person wishes, the product coverage may be increased with potential internal departmental transfer.
16. Any additional reasonable activity not mentioned above to increase the company’s revenue and profit.
