We are seeking a Technical Manager specialized in healthcare to oversee technical operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing technical teams, ensuring compliance, and optimizing technical systems and processes within the healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and manage technical teams responsible for healthcare systems, infrastructure, and applications.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and support to ensure efficient technical operations and adherence to healthcare standards and regulations.
  • Healthcare Systems Optimization: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of healthcare-specific technical systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements, upgrades, and optimization to enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and data security.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards, HIPAA regulations, and other relevant data privacy and security requirements.
  • Implement and enforce best practices and protocols to protect patient data and ensure confidentiality.
  • Collaboration and Cross-functional Engagement: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, IT teams, and stakeholders to align technical strategies with healthcare delivery objectives.
  • Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management and Planning: Plan and manage technical projects related to healthcare systems implementation, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and oversee project execution to ensure timely and successful delivery.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in technical management, specifically within healthcare IT or healthcare systems management.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare information systems, electronic health records (EHR/EMR), and healthcare-specific software applications.
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance standards, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous.
