The role focuses on leading and developing the technical team, ensuring alignment with IKEA values. It involves creating and implementing strategies for the department's tactical and operational activities and overseeing efficient, standardized maintenance practices. Responsibilities include managing a flexible automation and digital team, handling budget process, supervising investments and projects as well as spare parts and maintenance services. As part of the IKEA Jasna management team, the role contributes to achieving company goals, ensures safety and environmental compliance, and fosters a strong IKEA culture.

Main responsibilities

  • lead and develop technical team in line with IKEA values and leadership principles
  • create and deploy strategy to tactical and operational activities of technical department
  • ensure well-functioning predictive, preventive and operational maintenance in planned and standardized way
  • manage and develop flexible automation and digital team
  • prepare and perform the budget
  • supervise investments, projects, spare parts warehouse as well as tendering and contracting maintenance services
  • as a member of the IKEA Jasna management team, you participate in aligning company goals and actions, and you actively support this process through your contributions and efforts
  • ensure compliance with legal and IKEA regulations especially in safety and environment
  • build strong IKEA culture in technical team

  • have high level of proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills as crucial for collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • have the ability to build strong relationships
  • have the curiosity to learn and try new things, and inspires others to do the same
  • have the capability to adapt to evolving technologies, analyzing data for informed decision-making, and efficiently resolve conflicts
  • have the technical university education and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role in industry.
  • have production experience, we see it as an advantage
  • are fluent in Slovakian and English, both written and spoken

We offer you an interesting job that is in an exciting development phase. You will be located in Liptovský Mikuláš, Slovakia. By the way if you enjoy skiing it is very close to Ski resort in Jasna.

Salary: 4500 € / brutto / monthly – Final offer depends on the candidate´s skills and experience.
