We need a strong Technical Lead to help take our engineering teams and projects to the next level.
The Technical Lead must have a unique combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business thinking. As Technical lead, you will help make architectural decisions, carefully balancing between a speedy delivery versus technical debt, extensibility versus over-engineering, short-term goals versus long-term goals, based on each project’s individual needs.
The Technical Lead oversees the software development lifecycle from end to end, and helps ensure consistent and continuous progression. When there is pause or hesitation, you will push to keep momentum and propel the project forward. When there is doubt or uncertainty, you will help steer the project along and in the right direction. When there are assumptions or misunderstandings, you will help clarify and align the team. You will take responsibility from project initiation to successful delivery, with excellent attention to detail and upholding a high standard of quality.
WHAT'S THE DAY TO DAY LIKE?
- As needed, actively contribute as a full stack developer on the EngageFront platform
- Provide design and architectural recommendations over the various web-based platforms in the Pelmorex Data tech stack, including but not limited to LandScape, Foot Traffic Attribution, and EngageFront
- Guide various teams and products towards a seamless, integrated user experience by sharing code, knowledge, and design decisions
- Find inefficiencies across teams and reduce work that reinvents the wheel
- Uphold quality and consistency of code, testing, documentation, etc across teams by sharing knowledge and best practices
- Continuously automating processes to reduce the time from code to production.
- Assess technical risks associated with projects and take steps to mitigate them. Anticipate potential challenges and proactively address them to minimize future problems.
- Help manage prioritize technical tasks, including technical debt, ensuring that deadlines are met with high quality results, and project milestones are achieved.
- Identify and bridge any gaps in communication, help resolve misunderstandings and assumptions, and help translate business goals into technical goals and vice versa
- Mentor and support fellow developers, sharing your expertise and guiding them in solving technical challenges and help them grow professionally.
- Provide operational support. Monitor key metrics to identify issues as soon as possible, or even before they occur and take immediate actions to satisfy clients.

WE ARE HOPING YOU HAVE:
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining production web applications
- 2+ years of experience in the ad tech or data analytics industry
- Proven experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity, guiding and inspiring team members to achieve technical and project goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex technical challenges and make informed decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in managing projects through the software development lifecycle, ensuring on-time and quality delivery.
- Ability to align technical decisions with broader business goals and contribute to the development of a technical roadmap.
- Experience working closely with stakeholders, understanding their needs, and translating them into technical solutions
- Strong desire for continuous learning, staying updated with industry trends, and fostering a culture of innovation within the team.
