At ISSHO, you will:
Collaborate closely with the ISSHO team, including the founder and engineers, to enhance the company's market value.
Mentor and manage junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Drive through making key technical decisions in the development of new functionalities on the ISSHO platform tailored to customer needs.
Address customer issues promptly and effectively, enhancing productivity and satisfaction of the product
Drive and execute the development of new functionalities on the ISSHO platform to meet evolving customer needs
Execute tasks in areas where junior engineers may lack the necessary expertise and experience
As a leader of the ISSHO engineering team, you'll be tasked with making critical technical decisions when implementing new features that directly impact our customers. Your insights and decisions are integral to shaping the evolution of our product.
You will also be involved in the execution of feature development. We're constantly striving for improvement as a team, and your leadership will guide us in effectively addressing customer issues.
Additionally, you will ensure adherence to best practices, maintaining high code quality, and fostering a collaborative and productive team environment. You will be playing a crucial role in strategic project planning, breaking down complex tasks, and timely issue prioritization/resolution for our valued customers.
With your exceptional leadership skills, encompassing technical decision-making, task prioritization, conducting thorough code reviews, offering invaluable feedback to junior members, and actively executing product development, you'll leverage your technical expertise to overcome challenges and drive project success.

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of hands-on experience in product development and mentoring junior engineers
1+ years experience in leading a technical team
Demonstrated experience in leading and executing product development initiatives, with a strong track record of delivering successful outcomes.
Proven track record of thriving in dynamic, high-growth environments
Proficient in programming with Javascript/Typescript, or similar technologies preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to communicate in business-level Japanese
3+ experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and web app development
1+ years of experience in leading a technical team on a project
Proficient in deploying production-level applications and integrating with platforms like Slack and Teams
