Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Enablement Lead to join our dynamic sales enablement team at Axonius.
The Technical Enablement Lead is an individual contributor role, and will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our pre-sales Sales Engineers (SEs) and post-sales Technical Account Managers (TAMs). Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Enablement, this role will be responsible for conceiving, developing, and executing a comprehensive enablement strategy tailored to the needs of our Field Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have had experience as an SE or TAM, exposure to different enablement tools, strategies, and frameworks, coupled with deep technical expertise in cybersecurity, networking, and cloud
Responsibilities:
Enablement strategy development:
Collaborate with the Senior Director of Sales Enablement and the Head of Field Engineering to design a twice-yearly enablement strategy that addresses the specific needs of SEs and TAMs, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives and business goals.
Technical needs assessment
Conduct regular assessments of the technical enablement needs across the pre- and post-sales teams to identify knowledge gaps and areas for improvement.
incorporate those needs and gaps into the ongoing strategy and execution of the role.
Content development and curation
Conceive, design and deliver a technical certification program for internal field engineering teams, designed to train the team on what the Axonius tool does and show them how to use it to deliver a variety of customer outcomes.
Deliver high-quality enablement content, including technical training materials, product documentation, best practice guides, and case studies to support global Field Engineering
Curate technical documentation using our sales asset management platform, Highspot and ensure the content stays up to date and relevant.
Program Execution & Project Management:
Training Delivery: Collaborate with the lead curriculum developer to design and deliver impactful training programs for SEs and TAMs, such as onboarding and ongoing training. Such trainings would be delivered via a wide range of modalities including live sessions, workshops, labs, webinars, and self-paced learning modules.
Communication: Develop and manage ongoing communication content and delivery mechanisms related to technical enablement initiatives ensuring the SE and TAM teams are informed of new resources, training opportunities, and product updates.
Metrics & Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the desired outcomes the technical enablement programs are delivering, provide regular reports to senior leadership on outcomes.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Field Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical enablement efforts, marketing and product strategy.
Feedback Loop: Create feedback mechanisms to gather input from SEs and TAMs, ensuring their needs are met and incorporating their insights into future enablement programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in a technical role, such as Sales Engineer or Technical Account Manager, with at least 3 years of experience in technical enablement or a related field.
Deep technical expertise in cybersecurity, networking, and cloudBackground in attack surface management, vulnerability management or Axonius a major plus.
Proven ability to develop and execute enablement strategies and programs that drive measurable improvements in team performance.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver on time.
Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to adjust the technical level of the content based on audience need.
Proficiency in using enablement tools and platforms for content development and delivery such as Highspot, Articulate, and Rise. Additional expertise in video editing software and G-Suite is essential.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
