What's the job?
The position of a Technical Documentation Writer is open in DPX (Enterprise Data Protection) team that is working on data protection for physical & virtual infrastructure (disks, NAS, Hypervisors, Apps) and early Ransomware Detection features. You will be a part of a team that is working in a startup-like atmosphere from the US and Poland.
We want you to help create best in the world software documentation, user manuals, and other technical content that converts complex technical information to a non-technical language.😊
What you will do:
- Prepare instruction manuals
- Disseminate technical information in easy-to-understand language for a non-technical audience
- Have technical accuracy in writing user documentation
- Create software documentation after a thorough collaboration with subject matter experts and technical staff
- Improve existing documentation
- Convert complex documentation to easy language for multiple audiences
- Create product manuals with screenshots and tutorials
- Write documentation for internal teams such as developers and programmers
- Support marketing and customers with clear product documentation or tutorials
- Support your developers with clear business requirements or product standards
Requirements:
- Great English skills (C1)
- proven experience in writing technical documentation
- Understand and explain complex technical concepts
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Ability to undertake multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented
