This role is based at Culham, Oxfordshire.

This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions.

The Role

As Technical Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in providing first line support for internal and external parties on UKAEA document management processes including training and user support.

You'll actively support programmes and projects with the day-to-day UKAEA document management process including uploading to SharePoint and TDMS, formatting, attribute mapping, workflow tracking and distribution.  

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Act as the SharePoint power user responsible for; site creation, site architecture design and permission management.  
  • Assist with planning, developing, writing and editing operational procedures, specifications, work instructions, user guides and other technical documents based on additional business needs. 
  • Support the chair in technical workshops and meetings including capture and distribution of minutes. 
  • Act as point of contact for project related queries.  
  • Responsible for collating, processing, and publishing project KPI’s and milestone tracking. 
  • Support the project(s) change management process and procedures.   

Essential Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience supporting projects working in a complex technical environment 
  • Expert in SharePoint deployment, build and configuration. 
  • IT literate, fluent in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access  
  • Excellent technical report writing skills  
  • Customer Facing Communication skills, both verbally and written. 
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
