As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in enhancing our digital presence and improving the user experience of our platform. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technological solutions by analyzing data, crafting detailed technical specifications, and ensuring that the developed digital solutions meet the strategic goals of our product team.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Work closely with the product, strategy, and IT teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Document and evaluate the effectiveness of IT systems and suggest strategies to optimize user experience and operational efficiency.

Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the software development team to ensure mutual understanding and implementation of requirements.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including risk analyses, timelines, and cost estimates.

Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization.

Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports.

Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.

Work with the development team to articulate the potential solutions and facilitate the selection of the best options.

Prioritize software development initiatives based on business needs and departmental priorities.

Implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated on project progress.

Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role.

Understanding of online journal publishing processes is preferred.

Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and user interface design.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum) and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, content management systems (CMS), and data visualization tools.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

A strong problem-solving orientation with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and quality delivery.
