Technical Bid Writer

We are seeking an experienced Technical Bid Writer to join our team at Trilateral Research within the United Kingdom.

As part of our SocioTech team, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating, writing, and submitting compelling bid proposals for AI, consulting and research projects. The scope of topics will be varied. Your work will help us secure key contracts across both public and private sectors, demonstrating how our solutions deliver ethical, high-impact results.

Key responsibilities to include but not limited to:

• Lead the entire bid lifecycle, from initial opportunity identification to final submission and post-bid follow-up.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, commercial, research, legal) to design projects and gather relevant inputs and shape strong, competitive bids that are of high-quality, and are winning proposals that align with client needs and our ethical AI mission.
• Write and edit high-quality technical content for bids, translating complex data science and AI concepts into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Create technical diagrams, flowcharts, and documentation that clearly articulate solution designs and implementation strategies.
• Manage timelines and deliverables for multiple bids simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and submissions are of the highest standard.
• Ensure compliance with public sector tender requirements, maintaining an understanding of regulatory frameworks and procurement processes.
• Continuously refine and improve the bid process, develop an efficient bid library, and implement lessons learned and drive efficiencies in how we approach tender submissions.
• Ensure the company is part of relevant frameworks and platforms (e.g., G-Cloud).
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, keeping the team informed of new opportunities and emerging requirements in the AI space.
