Within the “Banking Services” Department, the DEC department (team of 11 people) is responsible for maintaining operational condition and implementing business or technical changes within the Decisionnel scope.
The Decisionnel production team is in charge of providing all the means, tools and methods that allow the company to collect, strengthen, store, aggregate and restore important data in order to provide real decision support.
Perimeter support must be provided 24 hours a day. During the day, the system is used by users and at night for feeding new data.
This platform run on AIX, windows and Linux servers with ETL like Semarchy or OTIC. Databases running on Teradata platform and Oracle Exadata. Some installations are made with XLDeploy, monitoring and KPI are made with Zabbix, THEIA (Kibana/Elastic), Grafana.
Customers and Business Served:
Our end customers are Caisses d'Epargne and Banques Populaires. We work closely with the publisher BPCE SI in particular during the build phases.
The Team Leader deploys the BPCE Managed Services & Technologies strategy at the department level. It leads its team on a human and technical level.
Missions:
- Participate in projects under the direction of the Project Director and/or Project Manager in the construction and production phases of application and infrastructure evolutions.
- Participate in architecture definition of application with our editors, ensure that the technical architecture strategy is respected and efficient.
- Participate in some oncall tasks on important events (Production and Projects).
- Deploy the Company’s strategy at its department level and participate in the development of its business development plans.
- Anticipate business developments and prepare employees for them.
- Promote communication based on constructive feedback at the individual and collective level
- In response to questions: clarify, illustrate the possibilities for development and/or needs for skills development and/or direct the employee to the appropriate contacts.
- Anticipate, define and implement changes in the organization of the activity within the company.
- Create the optimal conditions for defining and implementing changes: involve employees, communicate, support, train.
- Propose methods for integrating changes in the activity of the service concerned to promote their consideration.
- Appropriate and relay upward, downward and transversal communication.
- Promote exchanges within his entity and within the company.
- Ensure close proximity to employees, top-down communication as part of the deployment of key Company topics (decisions, group info, customer info, etc.) In order to ensure that the hierarchy is aware of any operational difficulties.
- Organize and facilitate daily the activity of his entity and its interactions with the company.
- Implement and facilitate a continuous improvement process.
- Provide business reporting and forecasting.
- Contribute to budget construction, monitoring and risk monitoring. Operate in synergies and promote cooperation with other entities of the company within the scope of budgetary responsibility.

What we’re looking for
Qualifications and Hard Skills:
- Experience in team management;
- 5 to 10 years of experience on:
- Linux / AIX environments;
- Scripting languages (Shell, Python);
- Experience with monitoring tools (ideally Zabbix);
- Experience on scheduling tools (ideally VTOM or CONTROL-M);
- Automated CI/CD process (example: XLR, XLD , Git and Jenkins tools);
- Knowledge on Semarchy ETL and API Management cloud solutions is valued;
- Knowledge on databases (Teradata, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL ) is valued
Soft Skills:
- Proficiency in English - C1 level and French at a minimum B1 level (mandatory);
- Ability to make decisions as well as influence decision-making;
- Strong organizational and project management skills;
- Good experience in Agile & DevOps methodology;
- Excellent verbal communication skills;
- Good problem solving skills and attention to detail;
- Oncall activity required;
