Equal Education Partners is currently looking for a dedicated Teacher of Religious Studies to join our client's dynamic team. We are open to considering both permanent and temporary positions based on your preferences and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in Religious Studies that engage students and enhance their learning experience.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to promote improvement.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and the creation of engaging learning materials.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your teaching practice.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • A relevant degree in Religious Studies or a related field.
  • A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Religious Studies at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable).
  • Strong understanding of the curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Benefits

Contract Type:
Permanent – full-time, part-time flexibility

Level & Salary:
MPS/UPS – £31,650 to £49,084 pa, full time equivalent
(includes 2024 Gov pay increase)
