Teacher of Maths - Welsh Medium

Equal Education Partners are recruiting for a Welsh Medium Maths Teacher to work in one of our partnership Secondary schools, based just outside of RCT. The position is to start on 4th November 2024.

The school has around 500 pupils on roll, aged 3-19. You will be expected to teach KS3 Maths with the occasional need to deliver lessons to KS4. You will be a key member of their dedicated Maths department, following the same ethos as the leadership team which is to promote and encourage pupil learning and development. 

You will be working 08:30-15:30 for 5 days a week paying £160-180 per day. 

Starting in November, you will be a valued member of the teaching team. Your role will include full teaching responsibilities such as:

• Teach KS3 – KS4 
• Attending staff meetings.
• Planning and preparation of Maths lessons.
• Completion of marking and assessment. 

Requirements

• Be a fluent Welsh speaker.
• Have experience teaching Maths in a Secondary school. 
• Hold QTS or PCET with Maths experience.
• Display strong classroom behavioural management skills.
