About Your Role

In joining our exciting, agile and fast-growing company, as a Tax Manager with Harrison.ai, you will be given the opportunity to shape the tax function as the business embarks on its globalisation strategy.
You possess a focus on global corporate tax structures, regulatory compliance, corporate returns and a working knowledge of global SaaS businesses.

As the Tax Manager, you will report to, and work closely with the Head of Finance, to create the tax framework for a growing global business. You will be a team player who takes ownership of matters and have an interest in helping to build and shape the tax function. This is a unique opportunity for a driven individual who is looking to join a high-growth and industry-leading organisation.

What you'll do:

  • Tax advisory/tax technical lead covering each of the Harrison group's jurisdictions (Australia / UK / US / SEA) and entities (Harrison, Annalise and Franklin),
  • Support the consolidation of all tax related obligations following the acquisition of Annalise.ai by Harrison.ai,
  • Lead global transfer pricing compliance and preparation/maintenance of TP documents,
  • Ensure appropriate controls and processes exist to facilitate the successful completion and timely lodgement of the group’s global tax compliance obligations,
  • Proactive focus on process improvement, automation, technology adoption to increase efficiency and accuracy of tax workstreams, and
  • Prepare tax lodgements including consolidated corporate income tax returns, R&D returns, BAS returns and equivalents jurisdictions.

Your skills:

  • CA/CTA Qualification,
  • 10+ years of tax experience across both Big 4 and in-house tax roles,
  • Experience in Australian taxes is essential for this position, including exposure to Transfer Pricing, GST, R&D, FBT, Tax Losses, WHT, Corporate Tax structuring,
  • Strong tax effect accounting and transfer pricing experience,
  • UK, Europe, US and Asia tax experience is highly desirable,
  • Exposure to tax authorities in multiple jurisdictions,
  • Strong communication, commercial judgement, and problem-solving skills,
  • Highly organised with the ability to work under reasonable pressure and within set deadlines,
  • Self motivated with a desire to learn and ability to roll up your sleeves and get involved, and
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills.
