Tax Lead - Product Tax - All markets (f/d/m)

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• This is a unique opportunity to be a key contributor and grow within a fast-paced environment.
• You will head an international team of subject matter experts and lead all things Customer Taxes.
• Work closely with our Product teams on new products, product improvements and tax compliance - you will be the main point of contact for financial products related tax topics within the organization.
• Own the German market as the subject matter expert for tax topics that relate to the entire product range of Trade Republic: securities, crypto, current accounts, cards.
• Coordinate with our external partners, including financial institutions, service providers and tax advisors.
• Analyze existing and upcoming tax laws regarding their impact on Trade Republic’s existing and future business and take responsibility for necessary implementation.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 8 years of experience in a relevant tax field.
• Strong professional tax background. Experience in German capital gains taxation is highly desirable.
• Passion for capital markets. Experience in the financial services / banking sector is a plus.
• Reliable personality with high attention to detail.
• Strong communicator with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, clearly articulate complex tax topics succinctly.
• Self starter with the drive to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, high-growth organization.
• German and English language skills are required (full professional proficiency).
