Overview of the role
We are looking for a talented Senior / Lead Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5 - 8 years of experience in designing user experiences for mobile applications. As a Senior / Lead Product Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design project in creating compelling, user-centered designs across various platforms.
- Oversee the entire design process, from initial concept to final implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketing, to deliver cohesive and impactful design solutions.
- Develop and maintain design guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality across all products.
- Expertise in prototyping tools to breathe life into design ideas, fostering clear communication with stakeholders & developers.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies, and integrate new ideas to enhance our design practices.
- Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, effectively communicating the rationale behind design decisions.
Qualifications
- 5 - 8 years of experience in design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- Proven experience leading and managing design projects and teams.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and strategies.
- Experience with user research and usability testing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in e-Commerce, Finance or Travel.
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Experience with accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG).
