Overview of the role

We are looking for a talented Product design manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7-9 years of experience in designing user experiences for mobile applications. As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design project in creating compelling, user-centered designs across various platforms.

  • Oversee the entire design process, from initial concept to final implementation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketing, to deliver cohesive and impactful design solutions.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and ensure a high-quality user experience.

  • Develop and maintain design guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality across all products.

  • Expertise in prototyping tools to breathe life into design ideas, fostering clear communication with stakeholders & developers.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.

  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies, and integrate new ideas to enhance our design practices.

  • Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, effectively communicating the rationale behind design decisions.

Requirements:

  • 7 to 9 years of experience in design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

  • Proven experience leading and managing design projects and teams.

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and strategies.

  • Experience with user research and usability testing.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred).

Good to have
  • Experience in e-Commerce, Finance or Travel.
  • Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Experience with accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG).
