About the team

As an Enablement Program Manager on Stripe’s Talent Management Team (part of the Talent & Development org), you will drive the development and delivery of training to support Stripes in understanding Talent programs. This person will have broad expertise in the learning design and talent management spaces, including content design and development, change management, program management, and virtual and IRL facilitation. The ideal candidate is a highly proactive self-motivator who has a pulse on the latest trends in talent development and a proven track record of designing, delivering, and evaluating exceptional learning experiences aligned to business strategy.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities

  • Own the development of learning materials to support users in understanding talent programs (e.g. performance review, talent planning, performance management)
  • Leverage a users-first, change management driven approach to design highly relevant, succinct, and clear enablement
  • Support key Stripe initiatives by owning, designing, and developing suites of enablement assets including job aids, manager guides, and live/virtual training sessions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts during the design and development process, establishing project timelines, addressing user feedback, and ensuring alignment, engagement, and expectation management
  • Consult with business leaders to understand their needs and solicit their input, appropriate sponsorship, engagement, and alignment
  • Build with change management in mind, understanding the user impact of a program and building to support a smooth transition
  • Qualitatively and quantitatively assess and improve the effectiveness of training and enablement to demonstrate impact in line with business objectives
  • Facilitate and/or work with facilitators to deliver ongoing developmental experiences (primarily virtually via Zoom, some IRL)

Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 5-8+ years of experience in relevant L&D and Talent Management spaces
  • Extensive experience navigating ambiguity and building effective solutions that scale (experience designing learning experiences in a high-growth environment a plus)
  • Deep knowledge of adult learning principles to deliver programs
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience leveraging technology to curate and deliver high-impact learning
  • Experience building in a variety of learning formats: ILT (live and virtual) and on-demand
  • Demonstrated expertise in using data to inform decisions on effectiveness of development experiences - and an understanding of what creates both learning and behavior change resulting in measurable improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, and highly collaborative environment
  • Strong virtual and in-person facilitation experience
