We are looking for a Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist I based in Bangalore, India, reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Development located in Santa Clara, CA. In this role, you will coordinate various employee programs, maintain data quality in our learning management system (LMS), and support corporate training initiatives to cultivate a learning environment at Infoblox. You will coordinate, schedule, report, and support initiatives for our L&D team for India and other Non-US time zones. What you’ll do:
- Facilitate Training Sessions: Conduct live and virtual training sessions for employees and leaders, ensuring engagement and knowledge retention for India and non-US locations.
- Feedback Collection and Analysis: Gather feedback from training participants and analyse data to continuously improve training programs.
- Content Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and update training materials, ensuring they are relevant and effective per business requirements in partnership with L&D Senior Director
- Technology Integration: Stay updated with the latest L&D technologies and tools, and integrate them into existing programs to enhance learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate data within PeopleHub Learn, Infoblox’s LMS powered by Oracle, by managing course creations, enrolments, audiences, metrics, evaluations, maintenance, and documentation with the functional team of LMS administrators, as well as troubleshoot employee-related LMS issues as a first-level response
- Ensure the global employee onboarding experience is exceptional through training webinars, up-to-date content, course assignments, system enhancements, circle-back reporting, and other events
- Coordinate LMS-related projects, including upgrades and enhancements, process improvement activities, and preparation of related reports for management as required
- Support the coordination and participant experience of development programs through dashboards, including leadership and employee programs
- Generate monthly reports for compliance courses, tuition reimbursement program, and onboarding status; monitor and update our Talent Development intranet page; and handle reporting of assigned projects to support the HR business partner team
- Help develop L&D stories for the employee newsletters and other learning campaign material to promote a culture of learning
- Source and procure local vendors to support L&D efforts, organise purchase orders, invoices, and new vendor documents to ensure timely payments aligned to budgets of India based vendors
- Support general HR learning items from the HR leadership team, and other duties as assigned by the L&D Senior director
- Partner with different teams within HR or other departments to improve L&D programs
What you’ll bring:
- Experience with Virtual Training Platforms: Familiarity with tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or WebEx for conducting virtual training sessions
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse training metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve program effectiveness
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and engage participants
- Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
- Knowledge or interest in HR technology, such as learning management system experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree on HR, organisational development, or organisation psychology or related discipline
- Strong Microsoft (Word, Excel, PPT) and Google Suite skills
- Excellent organisation and people skills
- Ability to multi-task, organise, take initiative, and follow up independently
- Willingness to actively participate in development training
- Strong program management and data organisation skills
- Proactive and Self-Motivated: Takes initiative and works independently with minimal supervision
- Adaptable and Flexible: Comfortable with change and able to adapt to new situations and challenges
