About This Opportunity:

Department: Human Resources- Talent Development        
Location: Atlanta, GA (hybrid)
Position type: Permanent, Full Time
Reports to: Director of Talent Development

The position is primarily responsible for talent development enablement by developing learning collateral and delivering “wow” experiences for a performance-based culture.   

Leveraging our talent development programs as well as new ones, enhancing workshop design, organizing content and materials, organizing talent development projects, and delivering occasional facilitation. Must have a demonstrated passion for learning and solid project management skills.

  • Able to manage and work on multiple projects or assignments at the same time.
  • Must enjoy working with a global learning audience whose language and learning preferences are diverse.
  • Adept at knowing what instructional design principles are applicable for a given project and able to immediately be productive quickly.
  • Must understand the value of not only designing, but also measuring the effectiveness of a program offering.
  • Must be collaborative and accountable for own work product and willing to assist others on the team. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Content Design and Creation: Handle the design life cycles for courses, tutorials, and other educational resources, including scoping, research and analysis, design, development, and launches. Identify the best instructional design techniques to ensure learner engagement and maximum learner retention. Design and deliver effective instructor-led training such as webinars and small group sessions with a focus on hands-on activities and application of knowledge obtained by asynchronous content.
  • Project Management: Scope and plan for, provide updates on, and keep team members and other stakeholders apprised of the status of projects/assigned work. 
  • Effectiveness: Define and measure training effectiveness using meaningful metrics and address User feedback to revise content as needed.
  • Innovation: Continuously innovate on all aspects of enablement including programs, delivery, adoption, and reporting. 
  • Needs Assessment: Evaluate needs for Docebo employees, define relevant learning objectives, and design programs or solutions to shore up gaps
  • Relevancy: Maintain projects and organize course documents. Proactively ensure content is updated and relevant for the business at any given time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in instructional design or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in learning development 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of instructional design models and learning theories 
  • Ability to navigate learning management systems
  • Proficiency in course development software
  • Clear and effective curriculum-planning skills 
  • Basic understanding of HTML and Flash
  • Solid project management skills 
  • Familiarity with Adobe 
  • Ability to use instructional materials and resources effectively 
  • Critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
