This role will be based in San Francisco.

This role will be focused on leading the facilitation and continuous improvement of LinkedIn’s enterprise onboarding experience. As a Talent Development On-boarding Consultant, you will be responsible for creating an engaging, seamless onboarding experience for new hires that aligns with LinkedIn’s values.  

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring new employees feel welcomed and equipped with the knowledge, resources, and sense of belonging necessary to thrive at LinkedIn from their first day onward. You will work closely with the Senior Program Manager of Onboarding and cross-functional teams to design, deliver, and refine the onboarding program and content so that it caters to diverse global audiences in both virtual and in-person formats. 

This role requires a proactive person who can blend expertise in learning design and facilitation with project and program management skills to support the objectives of the onboarding program, as well as LinkedIn’s business objectives. Your agility and growth mindset will be crucial as you continuously seek opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of onboarding content and practices to meet the evolving needs of the business. Additionally, you will leverage data and feedback to ensure that our onboarding initiatives are impactful, scalable, and reflective of best practices in talent development. 

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Facilitate engaging and interactive onboarding sessions for all LinkedIn new hires, both in-person and virtually, ensuring they embrace LinkedIn’s culture and values from day one. 
  • Leverage expertise in learning design to create scalable, engaging content that aligns with LinkedIn’s business goals and can be adapted for different regions and formats. 
  • Collaborate with various teams to design innovative, tailored learning experiences that meet the unique needs of our global workforce, driving continuous improvement in onboarding.  
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure onboarding program and practices are seamlessly integrated, meeting business needs and enhancing the employee experience. 
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of onboarding initiatives by gathering feedback from new hires and stakeholders, making necessary adjustments to improve program outcomes. 
  • Stay ahead of talent development trends, especially in generative AI and emerging technologies, to enhance onboarding experiences and drive operational efficiency. 
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador, ensuring every onboarding interaction reflects LinkedIn’s values and foster an inclusive learning environment where new hires feel supported, connected, and empowered to contribute meaningfully to LinkedIn’s mission. 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of experience in training, learning and development, enablement, or related fields. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Learning & Development, Talent Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
  • Experience with virtual facilitation tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in developing learning programs with measurable outcomes. 
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in diverse learning methods and facilitation techniques. 
  • Experience delivering onboarding programs in technology-based organizations. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).

The pay range for this role is [$86,000 to $140,000]. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
