At Polymath Ventures, we invest in and build early-stage tech companies that serve the Emerging Middle Class and SMBs across Spanish-speaking Latin America.

Through our Venture Capital arm, we lead and co-lead Seed rounds, leveraging the infrastructure and expertise of our Venture Studio to support portfolio companies in critical areas such as finding and measuring Product-Market Fit, developing scalable Go-to-Market strategies, crafting robust talent frameworks, and preparing for future fundraising rounds.

Our Venture Studio builds and scales digital companies from the ground up, combining entrepreneurship, design, and business expertise to launch successful ventures. We lead the Pre-Seed rounds for these startups, providing them with the resources, support, and strategic guidance they need to thrive during their early growth stages and beyond.

 

 

About the role

We are looking for a Talent Business Partner that joins our Talent Acquisition and Development team. This role requires a versatile hands-on person that wants to learn how to attract, hire and develop high potential talent from a startup perspective. 

We appreciate different backgrounds and experiences, you do not need to have worked in Talent before, but you are a people person, you know how to make things happen, you are able to influence others with structured and depth reasoning, you enjoy analyzing and processing data, you are a fast learner and executer, you can take fast decisions even in uncertain contexts, you are passionate about improving every process, and overall you are a team player!    

 

Once here, you will

  • Design and implement strategies to attract top worldwide talent to Latam
  • Experiment and fast learn about the profiles that best fit company needs
  • Lead the hiring process for strategic positions and manage your candidates’ pipeline to keep it healthy over time
  • Care for and improve the candidate’s experience
  • Guarantee a good onboarding experience for new team members
  • Lead and implement talent development projects: onboarding, trainings, career path, performance review, wellbeing
  • Identify key events to attend with a clear plan to attract talent
  • Design and host events targeting quality leads and being able to convert them into candidates
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders

 

What we are looking for

  • 3-5 years of work experience
  • Experience in operations, marketing, business development, product, growth or data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Structured and quick thinking
  • Goal-oriented and project management skills 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Hands-on, resourceful and collaborative
  • Eager to experiment and learn fast
