The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the organization’s needs. This individual will manage the full recruitment life cycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a proactive approach to finding the best talent to join our team at Lightcast.
Major Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, create job postings, and develop strategic recruitment plans for each role.
- Proactively source candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
- Review and evaluate applications and resumes, narrowing down to candidates who best meet role requirements.
- Conduct initial interviews and coordinate subsequent steps with internal teams.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and providing timely updates throughout the process.
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
- Maintain accurate candidate records by updating the applicant tracking system (Lever).
- Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders, candidates, and external recruitment agencies as needed.
- Coordinate onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Stay up to date on talent acquisition best practices, methods, and legal considerations.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 4 to 6 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition.
- Experience using the Google Suite and IM systems, such as Slack
- Familiarity with Lever (preferred) or other applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of labor laws and recruitment best practices.
- Experience working in a technology or fast-paced industry is a plus.
