Marcus & Millichap, Inc, the nation’s largest commercial real estate investment brokerage company (80+ offices in North America), is looking to hire a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment efforts of identifying, attracting and acquiring top talent to meet the talent objectives of the organization. This role will be onsite in Calabasas, CA and will work closely with hiring managers across all levels within the organization.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Calabasas, CA is $85,000-$100,000/annual. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.  Marcus & Millichap is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of end-to-end recruitment efforts including sourcing, screening, interviewing and supporting the hiring process of qualified candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand skills, knowledge and experience needed for each opening.
  • Gather feedback from interviewers and stakeholders to evaluate candidates' suitability for the role.
  • Develop strategies to utilize various channels to actively source passive and active candidates such as online job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Create, manage and track the candidate pipeline on an ongoing basis and communicate status updates to various stakeholders.
  • Prepare recruitment advertising & posting collaterals ensuring they are compliant with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct interviews to assess candidates' skills, competencies, and cultural fit.

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a corporate recruiting environment. Agency experience is a plus. A mix of high-volume candidate processing and direct sourcing experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a high-volume of candidates, developing a sourcing strategy to attract a high-volume of quality candidates, properly assessing candidate qualifications, cultivating, and closing opportunities effectively.
  • Proven track record of building relationships with hiring managers as a trusted and effective talent acquisition partner.
  • Exceptional sense of urgency coupled with adept problem-solving skills to swiftly eliminate obstacles and resolve issues.
  • Possess strong business acumen with high organizational skills, operates with a high sense of urgency and is commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT. Office 365 (SharePoint, OneNote, etc.) a plus. Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, and other social recruiting platforms.
  • Experience utilizing job boards, target company cold-calling, and other sourcing mechanisms to identify candidates.
  • Strong knowledge of common HR practices, employment laws and/or government compliance regulations that affect recruitment.
