We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual that is passionate about growing their recruiting expertise, a great candidate and hiring manager experience, and working on a fun team! The Talent Acquisition Specialist position is an excellent role to learn and master the core skills of strategic talent sourcing and full lifecycle of corporate recruiting. It’s also great exposure to the rapidly evolving field of Technology with the benefit of learning firsthand from some of the best and brightest tech experts around. 
 
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will gain invaluable experience collaborating with a variety of departments across the organization and running projects that directly impact our hiring goals across the US. 
This position will report to the Talent Acquisition Lead and work closely with the full People Operations team. 

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from kick-off meetings with hiring managers, to sourcing/screening to closing candidates across a broad range of technology, operations, and sales roles 
  • Proactively source top talent, gain candidate interest, and pitch candidates on LightEdge’s mission and core values  
  • Special talent and/or HR-related projects as needed  
  • Oversee and manage a detail-oriented process, ensuring no conversation or open position slips through the cracks and provide "white-glove service" to all candidates and hiring managers  
  • Effectively communicate and negotiate all pieces of an offer package  
  • Establish and build trust with hiring teams and important stakeholders to maintain a great working relationship 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Past experience with an applicant tracking system (Lever preferred) 
  • Past experience using LinkedIn Recruiter to source and hire passive talent
  • 5+ years experience recruiting technical talent 
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with others in a fast pace environment 
  • Problem-solver with emphasis on attention-to-detail 
  • Creative thinker with passion for brainstorming and testing out new methodologies 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills 
  • Team player mentality in assisting with tasks outside areas of immediate responsibility
