POSITION OVERVIEW: The key responsibilities of a TA Sourcer is to focus on candidate sourcing and building pipelines of qualified candidates for various positions within AD. TA Sourcer work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to identify and engage with potential candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source potential candidates using various methods such as online platform, social media, professional networks, Boolean searches, referrals, and other creative sourcing techniques. Identify and attract passive candidates who may not be actively seeking new opportunities.
- Candidate Engagement and Outreach: Reach out to potential candidates through personalized messaging, emails, and phone calls to introduce job opportunities and gauge their interest. Build relationships with candidates and effectively communicate AD’s value proposition.
- Candidate Screening: Conduct initial screenings of potential candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, and fit for specific positions. Evaluate resumes, portfolios, and other application materials to determine if candidates meet the basic requirements.
- Talent Pipelining: Build and maintain a network of qualified candidates for present and future hiring needs. Create talent pipelines and keep them engaged through regular communication, networking events, and talent community initiatives.
- Market research and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor companies, and market dynamics to gain insights into talent availability, compensation packages, and emerging sourcing techniques. Use this information to inform sourcing strategies and attract top talent.
- Collaborative Partnership: Collaborate closely with TA Business Partners to understand business talent requirements and develop effective sourcing strategies. Provide regular updates on sourcing progress and share candidate insights and market intelligence.
- Candidate Evaluation and Recommendation: Assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit based on initial screenings. Make recommendations to TA Business Partner for further evaluation or interviews based on candidate profiles and initial assessments.
- Utilize Sourcing Tools and Technology: Leverage various sourcing tools, SmartRecruiter and recruitment platforms to enhance sourcing efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated on emerging sourcing technologies and techniques.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing process. Respond promptly to candidate inquiries, provide regular updates, and ensure a smooth transition to the recruitment stage.
- Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data in SmartRecruiter. Generate reports and provide data-driven insights on sourcing metrics, such as sourcing channel effectiveness, candidate conversion rates, and time-to-fill.
- TA Projects: Involve in projects to continuously evaluate and improve talent acquisition processes, policies, and procedure. Implementing best practices, staying updated on recruitment trends, and suggesting innovative approaches to attract and retain top talent.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 6-8 years of work experience
- Hands-on recruitment experience across many role types including commercial, corporate, and engineering
- Ability to build trust and relationships with hiring managers across the business to assist in fulfilling all open positions in their teams.
- Exceptional business acumen and ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders and external partners.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-service oriented mindset, with a focus on providing a positive hiring manager and candidate experience.
