The Talent Acquisition Sourcer will be responsible for the front-end recruiting activities necessary for building pipelines of high-quality candidates for key roles across the organization. This role requires strong research skills and a strategic mindset to support the sourcing efforts of our Talent Acquisition team and to help Medicus maintain a competitive edge in talent attraction.
Our Talent Acquisition Sourcer position is a contract role.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct research and sourcing activities to identify and engage potential candidates for a variety of roles.
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to understand requisition requirements, timelines, and desired qualifications.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using traditional and innovative methods to build a diverse candidate pipeline.
- Leverage LinkedIn, job boards, professional networking sites, and internal databases to source qualified candidates.
- Perform Boolean searches and deep web research to identify potential candidates who meet Medicus' hiring criteria.
- Document all sourcing activities in Medicus' ATS and CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Proactively engage in branding and marketing initiatives to promote Medicus as an employer of choice.
- Provide exceptional candidate experience through timely follow-up and professional communication.
- Support campus recruiting initiatives and contribute to developing pipelines for entry-level roles.
Here’s what we look for:
- 1-3 years of experience in a sourcing or recruiting role, preferably within a fast-paced or sales-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple sourcing projects effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to identify and engage candidates proactively
- Experience with Applicant Tracking systems (ATS), CRM databases, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Boolean search methods.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
