Wolt is more than just a food delivery operation – in fact we are built upon a solid foundation of state-of-the-art technology. Our Product+ organization which includes all of product development (engineering, design, product management and analytics), has grown from mere 20 people to 800+ in the space of 6 years thanks to the efforts of this team. Our product development organization has more depth than meets the eye; Wolt builds almost all systems and tools it needs in-house, meaning we have 20+ teams working on 10+ different products.
Our Product+ talent acquisition team is currently a passionate team of 20 people, split between our offices in Berlin and Helsinki. We hire for roles across 7 locations; mostly in Finland, Sweden and Germany, but also occasionally in Japan, Estonia, Denmark and Israel.
We're now looking to add a Talent Acquisition Partner to support our tremendous growth. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll be responsible for the execution, hiring strategy and stakeholder collaboration of your dedicated domains. Our team hires for everything under the product development umbrella but at the moment we're looking to hire a talent partner specializing in Engineering hires. You'll work closely with different level stakeholders to deliver and ensure the best possible hiring, staying current with our approach, ahead of the curve when it comes to hiring needs, and troubleshooting challenges. Talent Acquisition at Wolt is highly collaborative with the business, so we expect you to want to work very closely with the stakeholders of your domain.
What you'll be doing
Work independently and autonomously to fill roles within your dedicated domain(s)
Provide guidance, understanding and insight to your hiring managers based on your experience, know-how, market understanding and well informed data points to inform hiring processes; interviewing methodologies; hiring decisions and practices.
Driving exceptional quality - both in candidate experience and in your service towards your internal stakeholders. We don’t settle, we strive for excellence and do common things uncommonly well at every opportunity.
Bring value by being able to discuss our business, product development, values and mission with vehemence with candidates and stakeholders.
Actively sourcing high-quality candidates at all levels.
Screen and sell Wolt to candidates in order to pinpoint and convert the right talent to introduce to your hiring team.
Communicating effectively (both verbally and written) to various stakeholders, usually our department VP’s and directors, hiring managers, lead engineers and our awesome pool of interviewers.
Guiding your hiring teams through the recruitment process with efficiency and finesse. Mentoring them on best practices, and supporting them in decision making.
Previous experience in recruiting, preferably for engineering and/or data roles, and a proven track record of filling such roles.
A genuine passion to hire efficiently and effectively at scale and with high volumes.
Experience working directly in close collaboration with (preferably engineering) stakeholders.
Ability to work independently end-to-end, and think on your feet in a fast-moving environment.
Be able to collaborate and communicate clearly both verbally and in written form in English.
Comfortable working with data to effectively drive decision making, creating best practices and influencing stakeholders.
