Summary of Position:

The Talent Acquisition/Learning & Development Coordinator will support specific projects surrounding the recruiting, onboarding, and training of employees at Scholar Rock.  You will partner with HR as well as other cross-functional leaders in efforts to make our onboarding process smooth and help promote Learning and Development initiatives for all Scholar Rock employees.  This candidate must be passionate about their role and possess the initiative to proactively manage the responsibilities and tasks the position brings.  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate various Talent Acquisition and L&D driven activities, meetings, events, and learning programs.
  • Assist with the creation, posting and tracking of open jobs.
  • Work with recruiters and hiring managers/teams on scheduling interviews for job seekers.
  • Communicate with candidates to uphold a positive, high touch candidate experience throughout the interviewing and onboarding process.
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation & schedule new hire meetings and trainings.
  • Plan and coordinate various Learning and Development programs and initiatives for Scholar Rock Employees. 
  • Build out and maintain SharePoint site to support the company’s efforts to promote Learning and Development and support for New Rockers.
  • Additional projects based on your interests!

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree or HR related degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft is required. (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint)
  • Prior experience supporting L&D programs and Initiatives Required.  Exposure to LinkedIn Learning highly desired.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Customer service orientation is vital.
  • Experience handling sensitive information preferred, must be capable of maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Exposure to HRIS and/or ATS Highly preferred. (we use Paylocity and Lever)
  • Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Positive, collaborative, and team-conscious attitude.
