Programmable DNA, the software of Life, is finally here! Twist Bioscience is developing a disruptive Synthetic DNA technology that will change the world, enabling widespread health and sustainability. Synthetic biologists will use our products to engineer how organisms produce cures to diseases, make everyday chemicals by using the atmosphere as the carbon source, enable plants to make their own fertilizers, and to create in-vivo diagnostics that alert us when we are sick, and many more applications.

 

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will work closely with Twist recruiters in a fast-paced rapidly growing organization. He/She will be an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and assisting with scheduling interviews and managing the Applicant Tracking System for the hiring team. This person will be highly organized and work effectively with internal customers and candidates to contribute to an efficient recruitment and hiring experience. The Recruitment Coordinator will have the ability to adapt to new challenges and help to build a great organization of talented individuals. 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support the overall company’s efforts to execute the recruiting strategy to meet hiring demand.
  • Effectively partner with internal and external customers, delivering high-level customer service.
  • Provide support to the team to ensure we are keeping the overall candidate experience front and center.
  • Oversee our background check process for new hires. This includes initiating and monitoring all background checks and reference checks.
  • Timely scheduling of candidates including screens, interviews, sell calls, etc. while effectively managing the overall candidates experience through clear communication, timely updates, and schedule changes.
  • Maintain close communication with hiring managers and interview teams to keep them updates throughout the interview process
  • Assist with updating job descriptions and maintaining our Applicant Tracking System data
  • Assist the team with gathering/tracking  key performance metrics and ensuring all candidates are in our ATS.
  • Follow regulatory and ISO 13485 requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-5 years prior experience in an administrative role preferably in HR or recruitment
  • Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Expertise with Applicant Tracking Systems, Greenhouse experience highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in order to prioritize workload in order to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem solving and administrative skills to handle a wide variety of complex situations and resolve conflicts involving specific administrative function;
  • Must be extremely detailed-oriented and use sound judgment
  • Ability to handle complex, and highly confidential business matters with discretion, professionalism, tact and diplomacy, due to the level and type of information this position will have access to, as well as those it interacts with
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of Management and employees, board members, and external contacts
  • Able to work independently
  • Flexibility and ability to deal with a highly dynamic and changing environment

The base cash compensation for this California-based role is below. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for bonus, equity, and a generous benefits package. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate skill, experience, expertise, and location and may vary from the amount listed above. Compensation may be different in other locations.
San Francisco Bay Area Pay Range
$61,152$75,000 USD
