Role purpose
This position manages recruitment for both Embedded and Non-Embedded positions across Asia Pacific, with occasional hiring support for other regions. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, APAC, the Associate will:
- Drive end-to-end recruitment processes
- Collaborate with global TA teams to share best practices and support cross-regional projects
- Monitor and implement emerging talent acquisition trends and innovations
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs and source ideal candidates
Role tasks and responsibilities
Hiring Manager engagement:
- Conduct a detailed job scoping meeting with the Hiring Manager to understand the full role requirements and to outline what is expected of the Hiring Manager at every stage of the recruitment cycle
- Recommend a strategy to source candidates from diverse talent pools and identifies new sources of potential candidates as needed
- Work with hiring manager to finalize job posting
- Recommend a selection and interview process to identify the best candidate, including interview templates and assessments
- Understand and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Regularly communicate with the Hiring Manager and relevant stakeholders throughout the recruitment cycle
Talent sourcing & screening:
- Proactively source active and passive candidates that meet the requirements of the role and conduct candidate outreach to attract them to the role
- Conduct initial candidate assessments, including resume screening and phone interviews, to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit for specific roles.
- Record all relevant information gained on candidates in Workable for the business to use during their shortlisting process; shortlists an appropriate number of screened applicants for hiring manager to review
- Promotes job openings to diverse sources of qualified candidates
Data maintenance, reporting & analytics:
- Update the business on activity across open roles in a clear and informative way
- Update activity trackers on a regular basis, to inform TA Manager, HRD, and Commercial Finance of requisition load activity
- Regularly check activity in requisitions to opt candidates in/out of the applicant pool and updates candidate status in a timely manner
- Monitors LinkedIn InMail usage and InMail success, working with the TA Manager to adjust communication to increase response rate
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of monthly recruitment status report
Candidate Engagement:
- Actively drives the importance of strong and effective candidate communication at all stages of the candidate journey, ensuring a positive candidate experience
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with recruitment metrics, reporting tools, and data-driven decision making
- Working knowledge of HR principles and recruitment-related immigration processes
- Proficiency in analysing recruitment data and creating actionable insights

- Excellence in stakeholder management and customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Experience building relationships across diverse backgrounds, cultures, and organizational levels

- Proactive mindset with ability to identify and implement process improvements
