TAHALUF - Graduate Development Manager

We are looking for a Graduate Development Manager to help develop, launch and manage our new Graduate Development Programme, enabling Tahaluf to inspire, nurture and develop the next generation of talent in the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia. Key to this role is ownership and management of the full annual graduate development programme, with accountability for its success. The role will report into the Head of the Training Academy and work closely with the senior management team, Tahaluf’s HR, and Talent Acquisition teams, as well as other stakeholders across the business team to always ensure we are creating an engaging and relevant experience for our graduates and any future apprenticeship programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will own, develop, and manage the company-wide annual graduate training programme (and any future apprenticeship programme), end to end, including designing end of year assessment.
  • Lead on the annual recruitment and selection process, to find eight highly talented graduates every year.
  • Develop strong relationships with the top universities in Riyadh / Kingdom of Saudia Arabia and the Tuwaiq Academy.
  • Act as the main and central point of contact for all graduates attending the programme, organising their rotations, solving any problems, and ensuring that they have an excellent positive learning experience.
  • Work closely with the local talent acquisition and HR teams in attracting and selecting the best graduates, looking at ways to improve the process, year on year as well as designing and delivering an assessment day as part of the final selection of graduates.
  • Work closely with stakeholders with in each of the Portfolios/Events where graduates will participate in placements; evolving the programme as needed, always ensuring all graduates experience a great ‘on-the-job’ learning experience.
  • Lead the development and delivery of graduate rotations and training programmes, including producing and maintaining training packs/materials, scheduling sessions, and managing all the associated administration of the Programme etc.
  • Monitoring performance and wellbeing and providing feedback to all graduates at regular intervals. Supporting line managers and graduates throughout this process.
  • Lead on building a strong and cohesive graduate community, creating regular opportunities to learn and network together. Hosting workshops and speaker events.  Including the end of year graduate ceremony.
  • Manage all third-party suppliers relating to Graduate Development Programme- select, conceptualise, build, and maintain high impact relationships.
  • Track, measure, and report progress on the Graduate Development Programme to the Training Academy lead and to the Senior Management Team
  • Partner and network with Informa Group’s Early Careers lead to build relationships with other graduates across the Informa Group, as well as liaise on the creative development of the scheme, where appropriate
  • Take ownership of all Graduate Development Programme marketing collateral, web pages and training material
  • Manage the graduate inbox including answering questions and resolving queries.
  • Attend conferences, trainings and other development as required.

Essential

  • Degree or related experience
  • Fluent Arabic speaker
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Skills, Qualities & Experience

  • Previous experience and knowledge of managing a highly successful graduate development programme through a full cycle.
  • Experience of supporting a business through the process of identifying talent, placement management, and/or capability development.
  • Ability to be the Company subject-matter-expert on developing and evolving the graduate programme, ideas, and strategies. Building out the learning pathways and ensuring each rotation is structured and is meaningful.
  • A passion for supporting people through their career and developmental journeys.
  • Possess an agile continuous improvement approach: consulting, piloting, reviewing, and improving programmes as appropriate.
  • Ability to create engaging and inspiring development programmes.
  • Ability to challenge and influence at a senior leadership level with credibility.
  • Excellent programme & time management and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication skills and thrives in a team environment.
  • Responsible for the Graduate Development Programme Budget
  • A willingness to challenge the status quo where appropriate.
  • Desirable – strong social media skills
  • IT skills such as Microsoft Office
