Systems Integrator

Two Six Technologies (TST) is looking for a Systems Integrator to join our team.  In this role, you will integrate data from the Pulse system into customer systems in order to support their mission and decision making. This position will also require an in-depth understanding of the technology including the underlying architecture and technical implementation of the Pulse and customer system. Training on the Pulse system will be provided to the chosen applicant.  This is primarily an onsite position in the Fort Belvoir area.

Responsibilities Include:

• Build and maintain data transfer pipeline between classification systems to meet customer information requirements.  Diagnose problems and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Understand social media and the information environment to support the customer’s information requirements
• Work with our customers and internal experts to understand their problems and creatively identify and implement solutions in the form of automations, tools, or one-off analytics
• Maintain clear and purposeful communication with the Two Six Technologies engineering team as well non-technical team members
• Act as a liaison between Two Six Technologies and our customers
• Coordinate and work with customer data & IT team
• Work with clients and internal team members to generate insights from unstructured data

Minimum Qualifications:

• Significant experience developing data processing automation solutions in Windows and Linux, using built-in capabilities, third party tools, as well as developing custom solutions
• Experience configuring & managing system resources & permissions, debugging network issues yourself, as well as  working with systems administrators to complete those tasks
• Experience using REST APIs, including from the command line (curl, get, post, put), via Postman or other tools, and/or writing code to utilize RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL data stores, and with common data file formats (e.g., JSON, XML, & CSV)
• Experience converting data between formats/structures using Python or other similar languages, and/or with ETL tools
• Ability to build data visualizations using Elastic/Kibana, Tableau, or similar technologies

Nice If You Have: 

• Prior experience working at Defense Threat Reduction Agency or in a military environment
• Ability to visualize data in a way that tells a story and helps analysts, planners, and leaders make decisions
• Ability to deliver Pulse support and training in a self-driven work environment
• The ability to analyze data for trends and patterns
• Familiarity with software development procedures/tools like Agile, Git, and Jira
• Experience working in and leveraging the services of a cloud computing platform, e.g. AWS (preferred)
