Barbaricum is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to support ongoing development. This is a hybrid role based out of Fort Meade. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

  • Support the integration, testing, and optimization.
  • Implement database optimization strategies and oversee purge processing to maintain system performance.
  • Leverage technologies such as NiFi, Kubernetes, Splunk, and Terraform to ensure smooth and secure system operations.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize containerized environments.
  • Independently deliver mission outcomes and interact with customers with minimal supervision.
  • Provide feedback to improve system architecture and deployment processes.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret SCI Clearance
  • Experience with NiFi, Kubernetes, and containerized environments
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, SQL, and Terraform
  • Knowledge of AWS services and experience developing technical solutions
  • AWS Associate Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
  • Work location split between AWS offices (NBP), customer site, and telework
