Barbaricum is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to support ongoing development. This is a hybrid role based out of Fort Meade. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Support the integration, testing, and optimization.
- Implement database optimization strategies and oversee purge processing to maintain system performance.
- Leverage technologies such as NiFi, Kubernetes, Splunk, and Terraform to ensure smooth and secure system operations.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize containerized environments.
- Independently deliver mission outcomes and interact with customers with minimal supervision.
- Provide feedback to improve system architecture and deployment processes.
Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret SCI Clearance
- Experience with NiFi, Kubernetes, and containerized environments
- Proficiency in Python, Java, SQL, and Terraform
- Knowledge of AWS services and experience developing technical solutions
- AWS Associate Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Work location split between AWS offices (NBP), customer site, and telework
